Request for Classification Action: Used to describe the duties and responsibilities assigned to a position for the purpose of establishing an appropriate classification or job title for the position. The form should be completed and submitted to the Employment, Compensation, & Records department to create a new position prior to recruiting for the vacancy. This form is also used to determine the most appropriate title for an existing position which undergoes a significant change in duty assignments. A copy of the completed form should be retained in the originating department. After a classification determination has been made, notice will be sent to the originating unit indicating the result of the classification action and the assigned job title.

Compensatory Time Accrual Sheet: For non-exempt employees, compensatory time off is in lieu of immediate overtime pay in the event that the employee works more than forty hours during a work week. Compensatory time off is earned at a rate of one and one-half hours for each hour of overtime worked. A request for compensatory time accrual authorization shall be submitted in writing through the appropriate school, college, and/or division to the Employment, Compensation, & Records department. After this request has been approved by Human Resources, reports should be reported for each pay period in which an accrual or a charge against an accrual is made for an employee.

Partial Year Employment Agreement: Partial year positions allow employing units the flexibility of full staffing during peak workload periods and reduced staffing during diminished workload periods while providing continuity of employment for persons employed in these positions. Partial year positions must have inclusive employment dates covering at least nine but less than twelve calendar months and must be at least one-half time.
