On campus individual counseling resources:
The
Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation
is part of the College of Education. They charge
based on a sliding fee scale. They can be reached
at (706) 542-8508 and they are open until 8pm,
Monday through Thursday (5pm on Fridays).
The
Psychology Clinic is also open until 8pm,
Monday through Thursday (5pm on Fridays) and they
also discount their services for affordability
purposes. They can be reached at (706) 542-1173.
The School
of Social Work’s RecoveryAthens.org
is a web-based initiative which offers information
and support to individuals who are battling substance
abuse in the UGA and greater Athens-Clarke County
community. The site contains screening tools which
help people become aware whether they may have
a problem, as well as information regarding treatment
professionals and options available within the
