Microsoft IT Academy - Computer Skills
Collaboration between UGA Training and Development, the Franklin College, and EITS has brought the Microsoft IT Academy to UGA students, faculty, and staff.
Microsoft IT Academy is an online learning solution that offers a vast library of Microsoft technical training, including Windows 7 and Office 2010 at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Some of the courses may be used to prepare for Microsoft technical certifications. Plans are underway to establish University Testing Services as an authorized Prometric testing center for Microsoft certifications.
The program provides access to self-paced training, and the training materials may be used for instructor-led training. Faculty members may deliver instructor-led versions of all courses in the program; any staff member who successfully completes a course may lead an instructor-led version of the course.
