A student health insurance policy is available
for all UGA students; however, the following groups
of UGA students are required to have health
insurance:
Mandatory undergraduate plan
- Undergraduate International Students holding
"F" or "J" visa status.
- Undergraduate domestic students whose program requires health insurance.
Mandatory graduate plan
Doctor of Pharmacy student plan (these students are required to have health insurance)
If you are not eligible for one of the mandatory plans above, you may be eligible to purchase coverage as indicated below.
Voluntary plan
Post doctoral research fellows, post doctoral research fellow adjuncts, & visiting scholars
