Campus services for domestic partners of faculty, staff, and students

Below is a list of services for declared domestic partners of faculty, staff, and students of the University of Georgia. “Declared” signifies the Office of Human Resources has received the Declaration of Domestic Partnership form from the faculty/staff/student of the University of Georgia.

Any provider may require additional processes or fees to obtain access to the services listed below. You may wish to contact service providers in advance to ask what is required to access the services.

Domestic partners of faculty and staff members:

• UGACard* (identified as faculty/staff dependent; required for many campus services)
• Admission to on-campus athletic events (only faculty/staff/students receive information regarding ticket purchasing options for UGA athletic events)
• Utilization of the Allergy/Travel Clinic at the University Health Center on a fee-for-service basis
• Recreational Sports Department (purchase of Ramsey Student Center membership, intramural sports, etc.)
• Use of Legion Pool
• Use of UGA Golf Course on a fee-for-service basis (guest rate)
• University Housing (live-in staff who are eligible may reside with declared partners in University-owned facilities)
• Parking permits for declared partners of residents of live-in University Housing staff on a space available basis
• Borrowing privileges at all UGA libraries
• Food Services
• Bulldog Bucks (an online account based debit card program offered to the campus community)
• Riding the Campus Transit and Athens Transit Systems
• Discounts at the UGA Bookstore
• Check cashing at the UGA Bookstore
• Campus Life/Tate Student Center (Movie theater, copy services, game room, etc.)

* Faculty/staff members who do not already have a UGACard must submit a New Faculty/Staff Request for Services form before their domestic partners may obtain a UGACard ID.

Domestic partners of students:

• UGACard (identified as student dependent; required for many campus services)
• Admission to on-campus athletic events (only faculty/staff/students receive information regarding ticket purchasing options for UGA athletic events)
• University Health Center services after payment of the semester health fee. Additional fees may apply for some departments and services.
• Recreational Sports Department (purchase of Ramsey Student Center membership, intramural sports, etc.)
• Use of Legion Pool
• Use of UGA Golf Course on a fee-for-service basis (guest rate)
• Family & Graduate Housing (eligible to reside with declared partners in University-owned facilities)
• Parking permits for declared partners of residents of Family & Graduate Housing on a space available basis
• Borrowing privileges at all UGA libraries
• Food Services
