If you do not enroll during the first 31 days of your employment, you must wait until the annual fall open enrollment period.
Premiums are paid by employees via post-tax payroll deductions. Please note: all faculty and staff who are paid on a ten-month payroll basis will have a double deduction of premiums on their August payroll checks to pay for July and August premiums.
TO ENROLL in in the cancer insurance program or to ask questions, you must contact the Enrollment Call Center at 1-888-936-7655 and speak with a benefits specialist. This number is available Monday - Friday, the first 20 days of every month.

Cancer insurance (Aflac)
A diagnosis of cancer is never easy to hear, and the unexpected costs beyond the amounts paid by medical insurance can make the situation worse. Aflac's cancer insurance policy can help with out-of-pocket expenses incurred when someone is diagnosed with cancer.
